Laboratory Trials and Testing Division
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports to: Lab Director

About RDI

RDI is a project-based lab we collect and test clinical samples for research purposes using immunoassay instruments that are not available in the market yet. Our company was founded in 2008 by a Scientist, and since then we have managed 125+ clinical trials where we collected and tested thousands of samples.

As the COVID-19 crisis has taught the world accurate lab testing and bloodwork is critical and RDI is well positioned to help lab manufacturers across the world develop new COVID-19 tests. We are also working on several COVID-19 projects, which is immensely satisfying to be able to contribute directly to the research.

General Position Summary

The Lab Technician will report to the Lab Director and is responsible for the testing, maintenance, coordination, and oversight of all laboratory related responsibilities.

In this role, you will be the primary person responsible for testing clinical samples in accordance with our client project requests. We are not a CLIA laboratory, and we do not report patient results, however we follow some of the same guidelines in operating our lab and testing samples.

You will be responsible for organizing the samples designated for testing, running the tests, recording the results and working with the Lab Director to report these results back to the research team for their analysis.  Based on their analysis, you may be asked to run repeat testing and conduct additional troubleshooting.
